Our pediatric occupational therapy program helps children develop the skills necessary to lead happy lives. We focus on developing fine and gross motor skills, sensory integration, and social skills.
Our sensory supports can help you and your child identify and address sensory needs that impact them every day. Some activities that sensory dysregulation can impact are: attending to tasks, meltdowns, teeth brushing, bath time struggles, getting dressed and more.
Feeding and eating is such a sensitve and complicated set of needs to address. We address feeding and eating needs from a neurodiversity affirming perspective. Some things we can help that fall under feeding and eating are: confidently expanding diet, integrating specialized diets (ex. gluten-free), utensil use, breast feeding, and meal time participation.
Self-advocacy is a huge component to our occupational therapy practice. We can help your little one learn to advocate for themselves and their needs in a variety of settings. Some topics for self-advocacy we work on are: specialized diets, ways we socialize (not enjoying eye-contact), sensory needs, school accommodations and more.
We can work with you and your child on anything you do throughout the day. Potty training, getting dressed, brushing teeth, going to the grocery store, getting out in the community and more are things we can work on with you.
